He specialises in the regulatory framework of the life sciences sector and health care, as well as in legal aspects of research and development activities and cooperation between scientific and business communities. He gained his professional experience cooperating for many years with leading law firms in Poland which operate within the health care market. Before that, he worked in the Polish Ministry of Health (i.a. Drug Policy and Pharmacy Department). As an expert to the Minister of Health, he provided support to the Polish representative under the Innovative Medicines Initiative. He is the author of many specialised papers i.e. on pharmaceutical law, functioning of hospitals and problems concerning clinical research. Since 2007 he has acted as a lecturer at scientific and business conferences. Currently he is preparing his PhD thesis titled “Risk management in Research and Development activity in pharmaceutical companies”.
In the Sciencelegal.com Team he is responsible for legal counselling within the health care market and for entities which carry out scientific research and R&D activities. He runs training courses and workshops.
He is passionate about history, particularly economic history and scientific breakthroughs; he is also a great enthusiast of the idea of crowdfunding.
